Pipedrive
Pipedrive is built around a visual deal pipeline. Reps drag deals between stages and get reminders for the next activity. Lite covers contacts, deals and pipelines. Growth adds email sync, tracking and follow-up sequences. Premium adds lead generation (LeadBooster), lead scoring, quotes and e-signatures. Ultimate adds stronger security and phone and email enrichment. There is no free plan, only a 14-day trial.

Fit and scores (1–5) are editorial judgements. How we score
Why people pay for it
- A clear, visual pipeline that reps actually keep up to date.
- Low admin overhead compared with enterprise CRMs.
- Email sync, tracking and simple follow-up sequences from the Growth plan.
- Activity reminders that keep deals from going stale.
- A large integration marketplace (500+ integrations listed).
Reasons to keep paying
The honest case for Pipedrive. If these matter to you, don't switch.
- Rep adoption: a simple pipeline that people use daily is worth more than a powerful CRM they ignore.
- Deal history, activity logs and email threads accumulated per deal over years.
- Low cost per seat for a real multi-user CRM with permissions and reporting.
Risks to know about
- lowfunctionality loss
Most features have equivalents in other SMB CRMs; the main loss is rep familiarity.
- lowcompliance
Enrichment and outbound email features process personal data; users remain responsible for GDPR and CAN-SPAM compliance.
- lowmigration complexity
Data exports cleanly; automations and email templates need rebuilding.
- data portability: easy
Deals, people, organisations and activities export to CSV/Excel, and there is a public API. Automations and custom setups must be rebuilt elsewhere.
